What if I’m not sure separate covers are right for us?
That's understandable, it’s a bit different, and we get that switching up your sleep setup is a big move when you're not sure if it's right for you.
If you're on the fence, we recommend testing it out with your existing doona and a spare blanket.
It’s not a perfect setup (larger doonas can slip off or feel bulky), but it’s a great way to get a feel for what separate covers can do for your sleep.

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. You can also choose Afterpay if you’d like to buy now and pay later.
Do you ever run sales?
The short answer is no.
We’ve chosen not to inflate our prices just to discount them later. Instead, we’ve priced our bedding honestly from day one.
It means you’ll always know you’re getting our best value, without waiting for a sale or second-guessing your timing.

Are your products free from harmful chemicals?
Yes, your health and the planet’s were front of mind when we created our bedding.
All our sheets are OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning they've been independently tested for harmful substances and meet strict safety and environmental standards.
You can sleep easy knowing your bedding is as safe as it is luxurious.
What are your sheets made of?
Our sheets are made from a premium blend of bamboo and long-staple cotton. Soft, breathable, and built to last.
This combination strikes the perfect balance of comfort and durability, without the overly silky or slippery feel.
It’s everything you want in bedding: light, natural, and designed for a better night’s sleep.
What’s the best way to care for my sheets?
Great question! Caring for your sheets correctly ensures they stay fresh and last longer. Here’s how:
- Washing: Machine wash at 40°C with a gentle detergent.
- Drying: Line dry in the shade for the best results, but if you must use a dryer, stick to low heat.
- Avoid: Bleach and dry cleaning, as they can damage the fabric.

Can my sheets go in the dryer?
Yes, but for best results, we recommend line drying to help preserve softness and longevity.
If using a dryer, just stick to a low-heat setting to keep your sheets in top shape.
How do I style my bed with 2 quilts?
There are plenty of ways to style your bed with two quilts! Check out some of our favorite examples here.
What size quilt covers are best when sleeping with separate covers?
Our personal favourite is the single quilt cover. Larger sizes tend to hang over the side of the bed a little more, and that extra weight can make them slip off during the night.
That’s why we designed our products around single doonas, they fit neatly side by side, giving each person their own cosy layer without the cover creeping off the edge.
That said, some couples prefer using double covers for a little extra drape or warmth, it really comes down to personal preference.
Do you sell quilts/doonas/duvets inserts?
Not yet, but we’ve made it super easy to find the right one.
Our quilt cover sets are designed to fit standard Australian single-size inserts, which you can find at most bedding retailers. We even created a Doona Buying Guide to help you choose the best insert for your sleep style and temperature needs.
We focused first on our sheet and quilt cover sets, as it can be surprisingly difficult and expensive to find quality and aesthetic bedding when sleeping with single separate covers. But we do plan to offer inserts down the track, so you can buy everything in one place.
Shipping
Where are your products shipped from?
All orders ship from Melbourne, Australia.
We aim to process and dispatch within 1–2 business days, so your sleep upgrade is just around the corner.
Can I change my shipping address or order details?
We process orders quickly, so there’s only a short window to make changes.
If something’s not right, email us ASAP at hello@scandisleep.com.au with your order number and the updated info.
Once it’s on its way, it’s sadly out of our hands.
Where do you ship?
Currently, we only ship within Australia.
My order has been marked as delivered, but I haven't received it, what should I do?
Don’t worry, we’ll help sort it out.
Just email us at hello@scandisleep.com.au with your order details, and we’ll look into it right away.
Returns
What is your return policy?
At Scandi Sleep, we want you to love your purchase, but if something’s not quite right, we’re here to help.
We offer returns within 30 days of delivery, as long as items are in their original condition.
Eligibility for Returns:
- The item must be unused and unwashed.
- Items must be returned in the original packaging.
- Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery
- Return shipping is at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
How to Return Your Items:
- Email us at hello@scandisleep.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Include your order number, item(s) you're returning, and the reason for return.
- We’ll reply with a return address and, if eligible, a return label
Faulty or Incorrect Items:
- If you’ve received a faulty or incorrect item, let us know within 14 days so we can sort it out quickly.
Exclusions:
- Used or washed items can't be returned for health and hygiene reasons.
- Sale items or discounted purchases are final sale unless defective

What should I do if I receive faulty or incorrect items?
We do our best to make sure every item is perfect, but if something’s not right, we’ll make it right.
If you’ve received a faulty item or the wrong size/colour, email us at hello@scandisleep.com.au with photos of the issue and your order number. Once verified, we’ll send you a replacement at no cost. If the item was incorrect (but not faulty), we may ask you to return it, we'll cover the return shipping.
Please report any issues within 14 days of delivery so we can sort it out quickly.
Is return postage covered?
For change-of-mind or incorrect purchases, return postage is the customer’s responsibility.
But if your item is faulty or damaged, we’ll cover the return shipping for you.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, every Scandi Sleep product is covered by our 365 Night Quality Guarantee. If a manufacturing defect appears within the first year, we’ll arrange a replacement.
Normal wear and tear or damage from improper care isn’t covered. To make a claim, contact us at hello@scandisleep.com.au with your order details.
